What is going on with people hearing these bizarre "sounds"? I haven't heard anything. If you go to Rense.com there's a string of posts on it.

Hello Jim, everyone,

I was about to start a new thread on this topic.

Sometimes these noises are described as a being like a distant train passing by, other times as an electronic hum, or the noise of a pile-driver, such as used when installing foundation piles for tall buildings.

At about 8pm on Saturday evening I suddenly realised I could hear the unexpected sound of a pile driver. Right here in London! It lasted a while and then stopped.

I'm used to hearing background noises, trains, aircraft etc so it is likely that even had it been any of these I would not have noticed.

I would figure, as open as it is here in Texas, if there was anything going on we should hear SOMETHING ... but nooooo LOL.

There was an article that said it was all BS, one comment identified one sound as industrial ... who knows - it's like every other topic floating around today

If the Indians back in the late 1400s would have had GLP they probably would have reported strange looking white men arriving on the East Coast and some dude named Columbus....and a few Indians would have posted the BS flag. :-)

LOL. Hmmmm.....we never had a BS flag in here. Of course we all know that everything we read in here is factual and entered by some of the most astute and credible sources.

I think Jim found it on photobucket, which was a surprise, as I'd have expected to find it at the well known website which tries to emulate divinity and uses the acronym of "GLP".

Well it may be quiet here, but frankly I'd rather the quiet than the insanity that is GLP

If GLP is representative of the state of humanity today we're in real trouble.

The sad part is - it is

From out of the shadows comes a strange voice...  it knows but one word.

"NO"

----------------

Might implode however!

Being serious, its hard to know, since (if channelled messages are right) we are poised to undergo massive change which (my slant on things) will see most people so astounded that they will not know what to say or do. It really will be like pulling a rug from under people (from behind them... so that they did not not see it poised to happen) who did not even realise that they were standing on a rug.

I reckon that there will be mucho madness (insanity) of people who have lost their bearings on life and simply cannot cope.

Everything is the brain - period. Arguments regarding WHEN the brain has "matured" vary, but maturation is offset by lack of utilization. Is society going to self-destruct? I think the question is - will we wake up in time? Frankly, I don't believe it's going to happen - we are going down instead of up cognitively.

I finished my assessment of 55 years of "experiences" given in the vein of constructivism - no one cares - everyone thinks they know more than I do regarding final conclusions - and if the SHTF tomorrow, like the Clovis culture C 11,000 BC - bye bye. I gave up - no questions - I no longer care.

And if he hadn't been sitting on the wall to begin with ... oops, sorry, that would be "thinking" again LOL.

We did this ... we put ourselves in this position. Do you have any idea what's going to happen to this planet when a superwave arrives? And this is one of those "not if, but when" scenarios - cuz it is coming. The EMP alone, which has never bothered us before cuz we were a "non-electric" society, will, all by itself, knock us back to the dark ages. The first question I would ask would be: How long do you think the global nuke plants are going to be able to run on emergency power - oh wait, they won't be able to. Hmm, how many plants do we have globally - all going into melt down at once? And that's just the beginning. Think you'll escape in your car? Oops ... car's computer is fried ... you're screwed.

The idea is, people would rather give up and die than think. All I ever wanted was a "prove me wrong" counterargument - God knows if I missed something. But no.

Oh well world ... best of luck with all that

Jim.....the question is....if it hits or something else happens, what would you desire....to be gone in a flash or to survive to see and attempt to survive the aftermath? Personally I would want to be among the lone survivors and try to make it as long as I could.
