You can read it here (or however much is available, and if you have everything turned on in your browser that needs to be turned on). books.google.com/books 2012 isn't a joke. Not because a predicted doom is a-coming, but because SOMETHING looks like it is being MADE to happen. Bolon Yokte was there in 3114 BC when this cycle began. Bo is a personification (like all "gods") of war; there were no "gods" here during the "wars" that created Egypt as we know it. So if Bo was here at the 3114 BC date, it makes sense. This tablet was discovered in the 1960s, and that means that there was plenty of time for TPTB to absorb this information. We are where we are today because of what happened back then. I think the Maya were just doing their Maya thing, and TPTB have latched onto the idea and are using it. If anything the Maya had to say was real, Saul/Paul would NEVER have begun his movement 2000 years ago; he would have known something else was coming much later. The world keeps getting worse the closer we come to 2012 - there has to be a reason. Christians point to ideas that they say verify their beliefs. Who is creating the picture? This is no different than any other doom event in history. Why is this one seemingly playing out "as if it is happening?" "...men are not so far from the truth as they generally believe. Their greatest error is in searching for it where it is not, and in attaching it to forms; whereas, they ought, on the contrary, to avoid form in order to dwell upon the essence." Fabre D'Olivet
Rather than STOP and say, 'Woops! I'm headed in the wrong direction,’ we tend to place a premium on projecting a consistent image of ourselves and try to rationalize our initial decision despite increasing evidence suggesting we ought to do the contrary. B M Staw
… many people today don't want honest answers insofar as 'honest’ means 'unpleasant’ or 'disturbing.’ They want a soft answer that turneth away anxiety. — Louis Kronenberger
Man prefers to believe what he prefers to be true. — Francis Bacon
"How to teach again, however, what has been taught correctly and incorrectly learned a thousand thousand times, throughout the millenniums of mankind's prudent folly." ... "The easy thing is to commit the whole community to the devil and retire again into the heavenly rock dwelling, close the door, and make it fast." — Joseph Campbell
